In 2025, a group of former singers from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge got together and decided to set up a new choir to perform great choral music to the highest standard. We decided to name the choir 'Hadley Choir' after Patrick Hadley, a wonderful composer and former Precentor (Director of Music) at the College.
After asking our friends and colleagues if they would be interested in joining the venture, we were amazed by the huge amount of interest and enthusiasm we received, and so the choir was born.
We'll be performing at St Mary Brookfield in North London on Saturday 21 February, singing a programme of great English choral music. Please do join us then!
I will be conducting the choir, with the excellent Owen Saldanha on the organ.
Tickets available here.
